| INDEPENDENT polling firm Pulse Asia is now considering to take legal action against the camp of former presidential chief of staff Mike Defensor relative to the alleged Pulse Asia survey in Quezon City released by Defensor’s political officer on March 2. Pulse Asia president Ronald D. Holmes disowned the supposed survey conducted in Quezon City showing Defensor improving his ratings over mayoralty contender Herbert Bautista. Holmes said Pulse Asia will likewise send letters to concerned publications, to demand from them to correct such “erroneous” report claimed by the Defensor camp. Holmes clarified that no such survey was conducted and figures published in newspapers were mere fabrications. The fake poll results showed Defensor closing in on Vice Mayor Herbert “Bistek” Bautista, Liberal Party mayoralty bet, who posted an overwhelming lead over his rivals in a legitimate survey conducted by another poll agency in December. |
